A Family Owned Flower Farm in Albuquerque, NM.

Our Mission

Plants, flowers, vegetables, and pretty much anything that photosynthesizes has always been my passion, even when I didn’t realize it. What started off as a small backyard vegetable garden has evolved into big colorful dreams filled with flowers and community. Last season our backyard farm consisted of ~500 sq. ft. of growing space. With big plans on the horizon, we recently began leasing one acre of land in the north valley that we hope to turn into a biodiverse haven for wildlife and pollinators. Our focus is to grow amazing flowers that will benefit our community, while working in harmony with our local ecosystem. We commit ourselves to using the most sustainable and regenerative practices within our abilities. It is our sincere hope to work with nature to create a beautiful, productive, and healing oasis.

Our Family

In deciding to start a flower farm, one of my main intentions was to follow my professional dreams while not losing site of what is truly important… my family.

Although my husband, Freddie, works a very demanding job, he still makes it a point to help whenever possible. Whether its hauling compost, providing his business expertise, or picking up my slack in daily life, he is always there, in my corner, cheering me along and supporting me through. Without him ‘Rowan &Wren Flowers’ would still be nothing more than an idea in my brain.

Micah and Keira, my two amazingly talented, smart, thoughtful, and fun-loving kiddos are the inspiration behind this crazy dream. It is all for them, down to the business’ name. Their youthful spirits and the joy they exude over life's tiniest pleasures, fuel the flame to create a meaningful place that is not just for them, but also our community.

And, I’m Cynthia. Besides my family, my other passion in life is learning. That is probably one of the reasons I fell into plants. It is a constant opportunity to gain knowledge. In 2008 I went back to school because I finally had the “aha” moment. I received my Bachelors degree in Horticulture in 2014 and have not stopped learning since. It was around that time I decided I wanted to start a cut flower farm. However, it took many years to conquer my fears and self doubt and to take the plunge into starting the business. Boy, am I glad I did because, now, I get to share the magical world of flowers with all of you!
